Our annual benefit auction will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 7pm - 11pm at the Grand Hall of The University of Georgia Tate 2 Student Center to help raise money for student educational opportunities, student scholarships, and community outreach at the veterinary college.
At this exciting event, a team of genuine auctioneers bring their high-speed chant to call bids on some of our biggest auction items. In addition to the live auction, over a hundred items are sold in a simultaneous silent auction. There is also live entertainment, a dinner buffet and an open wine and beer bar. This is easily the best charity auction you can attend in Athens, GA.
Items for the auction comprise of donations from within the college, from alumni, from various veterinary food and drug corporations, and from businesses and individuals in the Athens community. Currently, we are accepting donations and would greatly appreciate any contributions that you may wish to offer. In years past, donations have included merchandise, services, gift cards, etc.
Tickets to the auction are $25 if purchased in advance or $30 if purchased at the door. Purchase your tickets today using Paypal.
Want to donate to the auction? Fill out an auction donation form or contact auction committee chair Wade Edwards (DVM 2014) at bwade.edwards@gmail.com.
