American Animal Hospital Association

The purpose of the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association at the University of Georgia is to:

• Enhance the abilities of students through hands-on wet labs to aid them in becoming veterinarians able to provide quality medical care to companion animals

• Aid in the training of students to help them become veterinarians able to successfully conduct their practices and maintain their facilities with high standards of excellence

• Meet the public's needs as they relate to the delivery of small animal veterinary medicine

• Provide training beyond the required veterinary curriculum to aid student development into successful veterinarians
