Feline Club

The objectives of the Feline Club are to promote the interest and increase the knowledge of veterinary students in the field of feline medicine and surgery, and to work toward improving the health and welfare of all felines. As one of the larger clubs at UGA CVM, the Feline Club sponsors many lunches so that guest speakers can educate students on common feline diseases, emergencies, and behavioral problems. We also hold annual Feline Neuter and Spay Days, which allow veterinary students to expand their knowledge of these surgeries, while also helping local shelters in their endeavor to make pets more adoptable. We hold feline wet-labs, such as the Feline Restraint and Physical Examination Lab. Our club holds shelter drives each semester and organizes face painting for UGA CVM’s annual Open House. This club is focused on improving the lives of our feline companions while promoting education in this field of medicine. Please join us in our mission.
