Junior Delegate

The Junior Delegate is elected as a freshman. The role of the Junior Delegate is to act as a voting member of the SCAVMA executive board, assist the Senior Delegate in coordinating SCAVMA Symposium and the AVMA Convention travel plans for their students. The Junior Delegate also serves as a voting member of the SAVMA House of Delegates. The SAVMA House of Delegates meets twice a year to discuss and vote on issues concerning the AVMA and each of the Veterinary Schools. The Junior and Senior Delegates act as liasions between UGA SCAVMA and SAVMA, reporting back to their local SCAVMA chapter after each House of Delegates meeting. The SCAVMA Junior Delegate serves a one-year term and then serves a second one-year term as the Senior Delegate.
