Elected from either the first or second year class, the Secretary serves as a voting member of the SCAVMA Executive Board. The Secretary is responsible for the record-keeping of the organization. They will keep record of all members in good standing, which is forwarded to SAVMA and AVMA. The Secretary is called upon occasionally to prepare documents and statements to be sent to other organizations such as the AVMA, WSVMA, and other SAVMA bodies.
