The Vice-President is elected from the first or second year veterinary classes. They serve as the communications coordinator for SCAVMA to the community. They serve as chair of the state VMA committee. They also serve as SCAVMA liaison to the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, with whom they coordinate multiple events such as career fairs and legislative meetings. The Vice-President also works to assist the President and the SCAVMA executive board with all SCAVMA functions.
